About LIOC

LIOC was founded in February 2002 from the remnants of the Huntington CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) chapter.

From its inception, LIOC was meant to be a meeting-place for Pagans of all traditions, a place where fellowship and the exchange of ideas could take place. LIOC quickly fulfilled these purposes and became a popular group for many of Long Island's Pagan community.

Since 2006 LIOC has moved to new and more comfortable meeting quarters and broadened its community focus with activities such as its ongoing contributions to the Long Island Cares food bank and The Little Shelter, a local pet rescue and adoption organization.

LIOC looks forward to even bigger and better things in the years to come as our members spread their wings and add their voices and contributions.
